Bridge & reach cheongsam series Kenny Li X 皆一堂 旗袍创作系列

This cheongsam was inspired by designer Kenny Li who was invited to participate the bridge & reach (一帶一路) international young fashion designers tour in 2018. Traveling to Central America in Panama, from the old church's bricks and stained glass windows in 17th century Western art-style, combined with the cutting process and design elements of traditional Chinese clothes, to create a series of unique cheongsam; and uses 100% silk printed fabric technology; 100% hand-stitching, example: The traditional jade carving, cloisonne (景泰藍), filigree inlay art(花絲鑲嵌) and each of the buttons are hand-ground, breaking through the traditional Chinese style, condensing the designer's infinite creativity and craftsmanship of the top creative works.

这次cheongsam(又名旗袍)的创作灵感源自设计师Kenny Li 早前要获邀请参与(一帶一路) bridge& reach international young fashion designers tour 游历中美洲的巴拿马，从旧教堂的阶砖及彩色玻璃窗，独有的十七世纪西方艺术风格及色彩，再融合传统中式衣服的裁剪工艺及设计元素，制作出独有东西合璧的旗袍及围巾创作系列；而“皆一堂”使用100%真丝印花布料技术；使用全人手工缝制，例如在Cheongsam之上独创艺术纽扣，结合传统玉雕、景泰蓝、花丝镶嵌、雕漆等手工技艺，每一颗纽扣均以手工磨制，突破传统中式风格，凝聚了设计师无穷创意及手工艺精华的顶尖作品。
