Alibaba Design Museum for Public Interest 阿里巴巴公益设计博物馆

As a public interest exhibition in a design week, VAVE's thinking starts with finding the intrinsic connection between public interest and design: public interest is a social reality, design is a solution, and exhibition is education. Starting from a reusable logistics box for museum artworks, we redesigned the "public interest exhibition": not just an exhibition, but a recyclable exhibition system. In doing so, we have solved the issues of content, form, and operation simultaneously through design. We bring these problems and solutions to the public in the form of an exhibition, arousing attention and critical thinking, involving and intervening with the public, and believe this is the only way to make public welfare sustainable. Rooting public welfare in the real social context, we deliver the power of warmth to the public. We reclaimed a batch of boards from museums and art galleries and reassembled them to make wooden boxes, which serve as a strong visual element, the exhibition environment itself, and the container carrying the idea. When dismantling the exhibition, there is no need to disassemble the box again, and it can be directly transported away until the next exhibition. Combining the functions of transportation and display into one, the exhibition can be recycled to minimize the waste caused by the exhibition.

作为一个设计周里的公益展，VAVE 的思考从寻找公益和设计的内在联系开始：公益是种社会现实，设计是种解决之道，展示则是教育。我们从一个可复用的博物馆艺术品物流箱出发，重新设计了 “公益展览”：不仅仅是展览，更是一个可循环的展览系统。由此，我们通过设计同时解决了内容、形式、运营的问题。以展览的形式把这些问题和解决方法带到大众面前，引发关注和思考，让大众参与和介入，让公益循环起来，才是可持续性的公益。在一种真正的公益语境之下，向大众传递温暖的力量。 我们从博物馆、美术馆中回收了一批板材，并将它们重新组合，制成一个个木箱，作为一种强烈的视觉符号，物流箱展览环境的本身和承载idea的容器。在撤展时，也不需要二次拆解装箱，直接关起就可以运走，直到下一个展览。将运输和展示的功能合二为一，使这个展览可被循环利用，在最大程度上减少展览本身造成的浪费。
