Laihui Kitchen 来回Kitchen

The project is located in Panyu Industrial Zone, Guangzhou. The original building was an industrial factory built in the 1990s. With economic and social development and urban transformation, many old buildings are facing demolition. How to better utilize old buildings to activate them has become an objective reality faced by many cities. The existence of these buildings has diversified the spiritual and cultural level of the city, reflecting cultural inheritance and cultural grafting. Taking this opportunity to create a brand new food and beverage sub-brand - "Back and Forth Kitchen". The exterior facade of the building completely retains the building materials and state of the original factory building. The rusty iron doors, iron windows, and yellow exterior wall paint allow people to clearly see the traces of the past years here. The internal courtyard of the building retains the original plants, and the design does not damage the remaining spatial form, in order to retain its historical memory. The biggest difficulty in designing an old building lies in how to integrate the building. The design also preserves most of the original indoor materials, maximizing the spatial division of the original automotive parts factory, and selecting some materials such as steel plates and old wooden boards that match the historical era of the old building to create a spatial relationship in order to achieve a visual sense that is equal to time. All design purposes are to present an experience of dining inside a complete factory, a unique and memorable spatial experience. This used to be just a factory area facing demolition. After the restaurant was put into operation, more and more people became busy around the restaurant due to the arrival of this project. We are happy to be able to do such a thing.

项目位于广州番禺工业区，原建筑是90年代建造的工业厂房。随着经济社会发展，城市转型，很多老旧建筑面临着拆除，如何更好的利用老旧建筑活化，成为很多城市面对的客观现实。这些建筑的存在对城市的精神文化水平具有了多元性，体现了文化传承与文化嫁接。来回承接着这样的契机，创造了一个全新的餐饮子品牌—来回Kitchen。 建筑的外立面完全保留原来厂房的建筑材料与状态，锈迹斑驳的铁门、铁窗、黄色的外墙涂料让人能清晰看到这里曾经岁月的痕迹，建筑内部院子保留了原有的植物，设计没有破坏遗留的空间形态，为了留住它的历史记忆。 在老建筑上设计最大的难度在于如何融合建筑，设计把原来室内大部分的材料也做了保留，空间关系最大限度的保留了原来汽车零部件工厂的空间划分，并选择了一些与老建筑历史时代相匹配的钢板、老木板等材料去营造空间关系，为了取得一个与时间相等的视觉感官。所有的设计目的都是为了呈现一个在完整工厂内部就餐的体验，一个独一无二的、让人记忆深刻的空间感受。 这里曾经只是一个面临拆除的厂区，餐厅运营后，越来越多的人因为这个项目的到来，让餐厅周围也变成热闹起来，我们很高兴能做这样的事情。
