Yacht diesel engine "water&power" image design

"water&power" is a yacht engine image jointly created by the Institute of Design Strategy and Prototype Innovation of the Art and Science Research Center of Tsinghua University and Weichai Power. The design of the engine is inspired by the softness of water, which is skillfully integrated into the profound cultural essence of Chinese Taoism, which is "harmony of strength and softness". Its smooth, soft lines not only highlight the fashion and business atmosphere of the yacht, but also highlight the surging power as the "heart of the yacht" should have. This engine image is tailor-made for business yachts, with a sense of business, technology and fashion, which perfectly fits the high-end positioning of modern yachts. At present, the engine image has successfully entered the mid-trial prototype stage, and is expected to be officially listed for yacht manufacturers in October 2024, becoming the new favorite of yacht selection and leading the new yacht power style.

“water&power”是由清华大学艺术与科学研究中心设计战略与原型创新研究所为潍柴动力倾力打造的游艇发动机形象。该发动机设计灵感源自水的柔美意象，巧妙融入了中国道家“刚柔并济”的深刻文化精髓。其造型线条流畅、柔美，不仅彰显了游艇的时尚与商务气息，更凸显出作为“游艇心脏”所应具备的澎湃动力。这款发动机形象专为商务游艇量身定制，兼具商务感、科技感和时尚感，完美契合现代游艇的高端定位。目前，该发动机形象已顺利进入中试试样阶段，预计将于2024年10月正式面向游艇厂商上市，成为游艇选配的新宠，引领游艇动力新风尚。
