INTRODUCTION TO THE WORK
55° Moscup can effectively solve the “pain point”. Pour boiling water of 100℃ into the cup, and it will cool down to 55℃ after only one minute of light shaking. The LED reminder will show the condition of water through the smart system inside.
The design is user-friendly. Users can simply shake the cup body, and the temperature and action will show immediately. The interlayer inside the cup body is made of food-grade stainless steel and cooling material, and the outer layer is a PP heat insulation layer, achieving fast cooling and scald-prevention at the same time. The streamline and compact design allows users to get water with suitable temperature in a short time.

Tom Tan graduated from the Product Design Department of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) and worked as product designer for more than 10 years, engaged in comprehend design process from ideas generation to product development and sophisticated at research and analysis about user and trends. He used to work with TTI, a company listed in Hong Kong, and Shenzhen-listed Fenda Technology. He won the CES Award in 2006, 2011 and 2013, the Red Dot Design Award 2018, the Silver Award of Edison Awards 2018 and four iF Design Awards in 2018. In addition, his design works have been selected by global brands including HP, NBA Asia, Hilti and Hitachi. He is working on designing innovative and beautiful things that people love.
