Recreation of Waste Pickers 拾荒者的乐趣

After graduation, I chose to work in Guangzhou, where there is Asia's largest fabric market and a large number of processing plants. Once, I happened to come to a tailstock market. The shops here are like garbage recycling stations, and tons of unsalable clothing are sold by weight. The amount of inventory in the enterprise is amazing. Many enterprises produce products without restraint, and after earning sufficient profits, they liquidate a huge amount of clothing inventory before continuing with a new round of product development and sales, resulting in a large amount of manpower and material consumption. I began to think, am I going to continue making piles of garbage? During my graduate school years, I have conducted field trips in ethnic minority areas for many times. Local people's reverence for nature, respect for ecology, and life form a strong contrast to the state of cities. In Sanmao's "Records of Picking up Wastes", I had the same experience as a child. The road to primary school is the best way to pick up wasteland. Don't be in groups. One person plays jumping picking up wasteland without deliberately looking, but will look around with eyes. Paper clips, screws, glass balls, and bright perfume bottles have indeed been found. After growing up, I began to establish my "inspiration regeneration space". Recycle waste color cards, clothing test fabrics, cutting bed scraps, and household items from Guangdong for recycling and design. The collection of waste materials in my childhood has become the collection of waste materials when I grow up, expressing my childhood memories and the joy of creation. The project has currently completed 20 series designs, 80% of which are very practical products. Designers are responsible for reducing the negative impact of clothing products on the environment and the planet.

 

毕业之后,我选择在广州工作,这里有亚洲最大的面料市场和大量加工厂,一次偶然我来到了一个尾货市场,这里的店铺像一个个垃圾回收站,成吨的滞销服装论斤销售,企业库存的数量惊为天人。许多企业没有节制地生产产品,在赚取足够的利润后,将巨额数量的库存服装甩手清仓,然后再继续新一轮的产品开发与销售,由此造成大量人力物力的消耗。我开始思考,难道我要继续制造成堆的垃圾吗? 研究生期间,我多次深入少数民族地区进行田野考察,当地人们对自然的敬畏,对生态、生命的尊重与城市的状态形成强烈反差。 在三毛的《拾荒记》中,我有着小时候同样的经历,上小学的那条路,是最好的拾荒路,不要成群结队,一个人玩玩跳跳捡捡,并不会刻意寻找,但会用目光逡巡,曲别针、螺丝钉、玻璃球、漂亮的香水瓶这些东西确实都有捡到过。长大之后,我开始建立我的“灵感再生空间”。回收广东一带废旧色卡、服装测试布、裁床余料、生活旧物等等进行再生设计,童年的拾荒成就长大后的拾荒,表达我童年中的美好记忆与创作中的乐趣。 该项目目前已经完成20个系列设计,80%是非常实用的产品。 设计师是要承担责任—即如何减少服装产品对环境、地球造成的负面影响。
