THE SHAPE OF A MOUNTAIN 山形物语

The theme of this work is "The Shape of A Mountain". The designer hopes to convey the form and power of the mountain through this work. Combining the texture, quality, and warmth of the mountain with traditional fabrics such as fragrant cloud gauze, tussah silk, Song brocade, and old satin, and using Miao embroidery techniques and colors collected from folk sources to express creativity, the work is woven together with a unique Miao civilization scene through needle and thread. The wearer can also perceive the real and rich world behind the ethnic crafts and touch the cultural identity and humanities buried deep in the Eastern genes through the unwritten poems written on the totem. Let us return to simplicity and bring clothing back to its original state; let the inclusiveness and non-contention of the mountain soak into our hearts and temperament. Thus, with no mountain in sight, a valley is formed within the heart, experiencing the power and warmth of the mountain. Go inward and find the true self that lies within.

这次作品的主题是《山形物语》，设计师希望通过此次作品呈现让大家感受山的形态和力量。把山的肌理、质感、温润结合香云纱、柞蚕丝、宋锦、老缎料等传统面料，通过从民间收集的苗绣工艺、色彩来表达创思，以针线汇聚成为苗族独有的文明图景，使穿着者亦能通过谱写于图腾的无字之诗，感知民族工艺背后真实而丰富的世界，触动深埋于东方基因的文化认同与人文情怀。 让我们重拾质朴，将穿衣回归到最初的状态；让山的包容和不争，濡染内心，浸润气质。从而眼前无山，心中自成丘壑，感受山一般的力量和温度。 走向内心，寻找最初的真我。
